Gantry crane, commonly known as gantry crane (Gantry crane), is a kind of large lifting equipment, widely used in outdoor field for heavy lifting and transportation. Its structural characteristics and the use of a variety of ways, including single-beam gantry crane, double-beam gantry crane.

The main application areas of gantry cranes include ports, docks, railways, shipbuilding, steel plants, automobile manufacturing, aerospace, etc. In the port, they are mainly used for outdoor yard, yard or bulk cargo loading and unloading operations, especially for container loading and unloading and handling. Gantry cranes can be divided into many types, such as full door type, half door type, double cantilever door type and single cantilever door type, according to the different forms of door frame structure and main beam.

In addition, gantry cranes also have the characteristics of high site utilization, large operating range, wide adaptability and strong versatility, which can greatly improve production efficiency and transportation capacity.
